Entry Level Medical Assistant Full-time - Webster, United States - Primary Care Center of Clear Lake

We are searching for an entry level medical assistant that is enthusiastic, eager, energetic, and most of all, reliable.

Main duties include clinical support to senior level medical assistants


Other duties include:

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and medical services
• Perform various administrative tasks to support the medical office or hospital
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Assist with patient education and provide instructions for athome care
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain medical documentation
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment

Qualifications:

• Completion of a medical assistant program required
• Certification as a medical assistant is a plus
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements accurately
• Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

From $15.00 per hour
