Front Desk Receptionist / Customer Services Representative
Stearns and Company Insurance Services is a growing independent insurance agency. We are known for our creativity and tendency to come through when other brokerages can't. We maintain a high standard of service and strive to make each of our clients as if they're our only one.
The Receptionist/CSR will be responsible for providing a professional, friendly, and engaging experience to all clients and colleagues by greeting visitors, colleagues, receiving and directing deliveries, answering incoming calls, and scheduling meetings.
The Front Desk Receptionist will also perform data entry, various types of follow-up's, issuance of insurance-related notices, and additional tasks as assigned to support the broader service and growth goals of the company.
This position is designed to be an opportunity for growth within Stearns & Co. Over time.As this individual becomes more familiar with the insurance industry, with the training of colleagues and leadership, tasks will evolve.
Once this individual is ready to be promoted, they'll be transitioned to the Account Manager role and we'll re-hire for this role.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) with an ability to learn new software programs quickly
- Must be knowledgeable in front desk procedures. i.e., checkin/out, phones, etc.
- Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Maintains confidentiality of all company information
- Follows standard procedures for receiving, storing, and maintaining records as instructed
- Business casual attire
Pay:
$ $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week

Experience:
- insurance: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service or incoming call handling: 2 years (preferred)
