Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Clin Tech 2 to join the Cardiovascular ICU team This role is full-time working Day/Night shift with a varied schedules as needed by the department.

Requirements for consideration:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1year of acute care experience as a Clinical Technician.
Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.

Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:

Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Effectively communicates with health team members, patients and families; Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.
Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records.
Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
Maintains competencies and seeks opportunities to develop professionally.
Identifies own learning needs based on selfevaluation and the progress made from the previous year's goals.
Assumes responsibility for selfdevelopment in lifelong learning and seeks opportunities to further increase practice knowledge.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
