Oxbow Energy Solutions LLC is currently looking for an Accounting/Logistics Specialist join our team in the Long Beach, CA location.


Essential Job Duties:


  • Provides customer service and scheduling.
  • Communicates with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies.
  • Communicates with customers to manage weekly scheduling.
  • Communicates with customers on past due payments.
  • Internal Inventory Management System (IMS)
  • Reconciles trucks shipments with railcars in IMS.
  • Sends rail BOL's shipment notification to customers in IMS.
  • Transmits IMS BOL's to Oracle.
  • Administrative and Accounting Duties within Oracle and other internal systems
  • Prepare invoices and process PO's in Oracle
  • Manage trace reports in railroad software.
  • Maintains records of railcar repairs.
  • Supports management with special projects and workflow process improvements.
  • Manage expense reporting for management.

  • Strong aptitude for numbers, inventory reconciliation, invoicing, reporting.
  • Must be proficient with Excel.
  • Works well under pressure.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with accounts payable or other accounting functions.
  • High School degree is required. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, marketing or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience and familiarization with data entry, accounting, customer relations and computer systems preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Typically sits or stands for extended amount of time in front of a computer.
  • As needed, lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • May be required to move about to coordinate work.
  • Ability to communicate or exchange ideas by means of verbal or written word to impart information to clients or to the public and to convey detailed instructions to other workers.
