I'm looking for licensed clinical therapists (you must be licensed, we are not taking on interns or people who have not completed their clinical hours) who want to work at least 15 hours a week as a 1099 contracted professional in private practice as part of a small group.

If you've been wanting to get into private practice, but are not sure how to get there, we can help.

As part of the group practice you will have access to furnished office space and an EHR, wi-fi, referrals, business cards, a spot on our website, and a brand to work under, with the benefit of having colleagues and guidance from other professionals.

We are a small group just starting up, in the process of getting others credentialed and setting up our suite of offices (early June).

Our focus is on providing a high end experience for our clients. The office will not be your typical boring, clinical environment - we will have a warm and inviting space. Each office has windows.

You may work via telehealth or in office, or a combination of both. I would prefer clinicians looking to do at least some in-person sessions per week.

I will provide guidance in every aspect of transitioning to private practice including setting up a listing, creating a website, dealing with taxes and acquiring your own health insurance if you need it.

Flexible schedules:
The building is open 7 to 7 weekdays, 7 to 5 Saturday. If you want to work Sundays in the office, we can arrange that with building security. Depending on your caseload and hours you may have a dedicated office or share one with another therapist.

You will have the option to start out with telehealth and work to build up your caseload before transitioning fully into private practice.

If you're looking to work part time, that's even easier.

Please keep in mind you will be responsible for building your own caseload, though you will receive referrals from me and the group and other colleagues associated with me.

There is no pressure to have clients right away, but you will be expected to build your clientele over the course of 3 to 6 months to fill your caseload.

You will be a self-employed 1099 contractor.

Split for full-time clinicians is 70/30 to start, with future opportunities to increase your percentage depending on billing totals per week.

The group's cut goes toward supplies, rent, cleaning, EHR subscription, internet, promotional costs, website, business cards, and practice management.

You must have a current license to practice in Connecticut.

Must have good time management skills and good people skills.

Should be able to take initiative on seeking clients, managing your caseload

Should be willing to work. Preference to clinicians willing to do some or all sessions in-person on location — a plus but not required.

A basic understanding of being a 1099 contracted professional.
