SUMMARY:
Responsible for leading the activities of the Logistics department under the supervision of the Production Supervisor.

Duties include but are not limited to:

responsibility for movement of products into/within the facility, picking and loading of product shipping out of the facility; inventory counts, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for shipping, receiving, and pick and packing of orders.
  • Minimizes downtime, ensures team members are busy at all times.
  • Responsible for assisting team members with problem solving and guiding/training new team members.
  • Responsible for quality and accuracy of department output and for maintaining department schedules or commitments.
  • Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all orders to be picked and/or shipped during shift. Manages all receiving and shipping office paper flow.
  • Communicates delays and progress to supervisor on a daily basis.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work environment. Adheres to housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
  • Works as part of the Logistics team. Leads by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary.
  • Responsible for inventory control process, including but not limited to checkin/checkout, inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Researches and resolves shipping and receiving related issues.
  • Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the crew.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent.
  • Strong inventory control skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
  • Strong organizational, problemsolving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
priorities with enthusiasm

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions
  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary

Pay:
$ $32.00 per hour
