    What does a A/R Specialist- Medical Billing do?

    What you need to be successful

    To thrive in the role of Full Time A/R Specialist- Medical Billing at Texas Fertility Center, you'll need a strong foundation in medical billing practices and insurance reimbursement processes, including handling denials and appeals. Proficiency in CPT, ICD-9, and HPCS coding is essential for accurate billing and documentation. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be key in liaising with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams to resolve billing inquiries effectively. A keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze medical documentation to justify procedures will set you up for success in this position.     Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

    • Knowledge of CPT
    • ICD-9 and HPCS coding
    • Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance reimbursement processes
