Description

Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN, has opportunities for a PA to join the Cardiology team Position includes outpatient clinic in Fort Wayne or Decatur and inpatient rotations.

Experienced PA preferred; Strong cardiology clinical background required.

Lutheran Hospital is a 396-bed tertiary care center with an advanced cardiac care program: Advanced heart failure and VADs, complex arrhythmias and devices, TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman, CardioMEMS and more

Details of Position:

Inpatient and outpatient clinic rotations
No call required
Obtain patient history and perform exams
Assess and revise plans of care
Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as needed
Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment modalities
Educate patients and families
Collaborative team of Cardiologists and APPs
