    Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Night Shift

    • Hourly Pay: $28.40-$42.60
    Augusta, GA-Accepting candidates with any acute care specialty experience.

    Overview

    Join our team in Augusta, a leading acute care facility with nearly 50 years of excellence in healthcare. With over 350 beds, we offer access to trained physicians and advanced technology. Our services range from a nationally recognized Burn Center and Cancer Center accredited by the American College of Surgeons to being Chest Pain Accredited. We've earned the Joint Commission's certificate of distinction for total hip and total knee replacement and spinal fusion surgery, making us the only CARF accredited facility in the area.

    Position Details

    • Position Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
    • Shift: Full-Time Nights (7p-7a) with Weekend Rotation
    • Augusta, GA 30909

    Job Summary and Qualifications

    As a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, your role is crucial in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients. You'll be a key member of the interdependent team, responsible for achieving positive patient and unit outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate proficiency in assessing, treating, and caring for laboring mothers and newborns.
    • ‍ Collaborate with the healthcare team to protect, promote, and optimize health, prevent illness and injury, alleviate suffering, and advocate for individuals and families.
    • Possess knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care, considering physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria.
    • Contribute to nursing practice through Shared Governance, unit meetings, surveys, and communication of ideas.
    • Consider safety, effectiveness, cost, and practice impact when planning and delivering nursing services.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.

    Accepting candidates with any acute care specialty experience.

    Compensation

    • Minimum: $28.40
    • Mid: $35.50
    • Maximum: $42.60

    Additional Benefits

    • Relocation: Case by Case Basis
    • Sign-On Bonus: Case by Case Basis
    • Shift Differentials: Nights $3.42, Weekends $4.90
