    Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Augusta, GA
    Salary Range: $42.60/hr
    Join Our Renowned L&D Team: Exciting opportunity at The Hospital of Augusta for a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, providing top-notch care in our modern facility.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Full-Time Night position, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with Weekend Rotations.
    • Deliver direct nursing care and assistance to laboring mothers and newborns.
    • Perform assessments, strategize, and assess patient care alongside a diverse healthcare team.
    • Supervise patient care by monitoring, documenting, and communicating patient conditions effectively.
    • Enhance the unit's professionalism by engaging in unit meetings and shared governance.

    Qualifications:

    • Must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher from a recognized nursing school.
    • Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in Georgia or possess a multi-state compact license.
    • Essential to maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
    • Candidates with acute care specialty experience preferred, but all relevantly skilled individuals are welcome.
