Dental Assistant Job Description

• Preparing patients for dental procedures.
• Assisting with infection control, sterilization of instruments, and dental procedures.
• Supporting dentists in handling medical and dental emergencies.
• Providing excellent patient care and maintaining accurate treatment records.
• Conducting dental x-rays and educating patients on oral hygiene.
• Recording medical histories and vital signs.
• Following postoperative instructions and maintaining dental equipment.
• Ordering supplies, fabricating restorations, and ensuring office cleanliness.
• Performing sterilization tests as needed.

Dental Assistant Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
