Sterling Plumbing, Inc is looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The
AR/Billing Specialist is responsible for the timely processing of progress billings and payments received, maintaining accurate accounting records.

• This is an In-Office position M-F, 8am5pm (or 7:30am4:30pm)

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain project accounting files to include contract details, progress billing, extras, retention, and project close out processes.
• Process invoices and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Utilizing Web Portals, manage purchase order procurement and invoicing.
• Manage Lien Waiver issuance and removal.
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including posting of wires, ACHs, and credit card deposits.
• Reconcile the AR ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
• Generate reports for the Controller detailing accounts receivable status.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accounts Receivable and Billing Experience 3 years minimum (required)
• Construction Industry Experience
• SAGE 300 CRE Experience (preferred)
• Service Fusion and/or Supply Pro System experience (preferred)
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
