Duties:


  • Serves as a senior Financial Management Analyst in the Programs Division, Resource Integration Directorate, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff (ODCS), G2, Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA).
  • Responsible for programming and budgeting of National Intelligence Program (NIP), Military Intelligence Program (MIP), and other Army resources supporting the Army Intelligence Enterprise.
  • Supports the DCS, G2's execution of its roles and responsibilities as the designated Senior Intelligence Officer, Intelligence Community (IC) Element Head, to include resourcing all Army Intelligence activities worldwide.
  • Supports Army Intelligence and Security activities within the Intelligence Programming, Budget, and Evaluation (IPPBE) and/or the Army's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) systems.
  • Serves as a HQDA staff officer performing a wide range of challenging duties including complex research, data analytics, writing, briefing, and staff coordination tasks under short suspense and in a complicated Army staff environment.
  • Frequently represents the DCS, G2 at resource highlevel meetings, briefings, and intra
- and inter-agency forums; and prepares DCS, G-2 principals for their attendance at meetings and intra
- and inter-agency forums.

  • Serves as a financial and resource data analytics expert, and advisor to Resource Integration Directorate senior leadership, the Programs Division Chief, G2 staff, and other directorate supervisors and employees.

  • Twoyear trial period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligencescope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a preappointment and periodic basis.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a T5 (or equivalent) investigation.
  • Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 20% of the time.

  • In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes
1) administering budget actives for intelligence resources; 2) analyzing budget estimates/data to provide recommendations for major intelligence resource programs; AND 3) validating requirements for inclusion in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-14).

  • Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.
