    Overview:
    Breckenridge Insurance has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst in our Kennesaw office. This is an in-office position. The potential for a hybrid schedule will be possible after 6 months, contingent on performance and business needs.

    What You'll Do:
    Review and analyze financial statements and reports.

    Prepare financial reports:
    complete monthly internal reports for senior management.

    Create ad hoc reports as needed.

    Assist with budget preparation.

    Assist with the monthly close processes.

    Perform research and analysis as required.

    Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.

    Review outgoing payments and handle check signing.

    Assist Controller with ERP and Agency Management System transitions.

    All other duties as assigned.


    What You'll Need:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or related field of study), required.

    CPA or CPA candidate required.

    A minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.

    Strong Excel skills:
    Experience with large data sets in excel and pivot tables is required.

    Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.


    Ability to work well under pressure as part of a fast-paced team, with ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize consistently and appropriately.

    Ability to be detail-oriented and to meet constant deadlines.

    Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills.


    Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills; proven ability to research, follow up, and resolve complex issues or problems.
