We are a well established plastic surgery private practice in Tysons Corner.


Duties:

• Interviewing Patients, taking notes, assisting with consultations and counseling patients for preop and postop care.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care for plastic surgery procedures and treatments.
• Filling syringes, cleaning/sterilizing instruments, assisting in procedures/treatments and understanding of sterile technique.
• Answering phones and capturing patient demographic information. Responding to written and telephone inquiries from patients on a timely manner.
• Scheduling patients and posting surgeries.
• Preparing charts daily and updating patient information.
• Discuss fees and financial policies with patients after their consultations.
• Maintain the database of patients interested in procedures and skincare.
• Checking out patients. Ensure that all procedures have been paid for and posted.
• Prepare for Upcoming Patient Days.
• Work with the plastic surgeon and the marketing team to promote the office. Assisting with social media presence and communication through Facebook, Instagram and other platforms.
• Stocking and buying inventory and office organization (skincare, injectables, medical and office supplies).

Qualifications:

• Must have previous experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in plastic surgery or dermatology
• Knowledge of medical terminology and aesthetic procedures (surgical and nonsurgical)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficient in using computer systems and software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
