Description

Use forklifts and other lifting/transportation equipment to move parts and materials from production areas to shipping area and deliver received materials to other departments as needed.

Verify Bills of Lading with packages for proper loading of shipments.
Weigh and pack various jobs in the areas in which they are manufactured, coordinating the tools and materials needed to do so.
Monitor and maintain finished goods stores via accurate records, notifying the Lead Person when additional materials are needed.
Operate power equipment to straighten and cut continuous cast product.
Verify packing slips with materials received advising the proper party (e.g. Purchasing, the appropriate department, the Receiving Clerk, etc.) of discrepancies. Notify departments when they have materials to be picked up in the receiving area.
Perform Packer duties as needed.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. frequently.
Experience with various power lift equipment.
Solid reading, writing, basic math and computer skills.
Willingness to work with mínimal supervision.
