Introduction


ISS is based on the Positive Behavior Supports model, which combines the assessment and intervention strategies of ABA with social values of personal choice, independence, community integration, and quality of life.

ISS facilitates evidence-based behavioral, self-care and habilitative related treatment and/or supervision of treatment for youth with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) ages 5-21.

ISS support is provided in the home or other community-based setting, and treatment follows an approved individualized treatment & service plan that encompasses a variety of behavioral intervention supports and services.

Support includes behavioral training, adaptive skill development, assistance with activities of daily living, and community inclusion that assist the youth to reside in the most integrated setting appropriate to his/her needs.

ISS is based on the Positive Behavioral Supports model, for instruction, assistance, and skill-building in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL).

ISS services are designed to support the youth's acquisition, maintenance of goal attainment in home and community settings & build on their adaptive functioning and pragmatic communication skills.


Responsibilities


The Individual Support Plan Supervisor is responsible for developing individual support plans, conducting assessments, evaluating, and supervising the Individual Support Service Technicians.

The Individual Support Services (ISS) Supervisor conducts assessments in the youth's home or community setting and provides remote and in-person supervision to the Level II and Level III Technicians.

The ISS Supervisor is responsible for creating and updating a comprehensive Individual Support Plan which describes tasks for skill-building and goals for improving the youth's independence and home/community participation.


Tasks Include:


  • Conduct several different assessments, including the CABS (e.g., task analysis, preference assessments, reinforcer assessments)
  • Reassess at least quarterly
  • Develop Individual Support Plans which identify goals & objectives that are specific, measurable, attainable, and timelimited (SMART)
  • Supervise Individual Support Technicians Level II & III
  • Ensure all services are provided under policy and procedure protocols established by CSOC
  • Ensure timely documentation and paperwork
  • Analyze data
  • Make modifications to the Individual Support Plan as needed

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, guidance and counseling, social work, or a related field
  • 1+ years of supervised experience developing and implementing positive behavior support and ADL/Instrumental skill plans for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities

$ $50.00 per hour
