Description

The Test Material Supervisor is a professional who will direct and supervise hourly personnel in the removal of test material from forged components.

They will work collaboratively with other operations supervisors as well as quality assurance / control to ensure compliance with test material requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Direct and Supervise hourly personnel responsible for removing and sawing test material in the Primary Operations Department.
Read and Interpret drawing and process documentation.
Layout / Supervise layout of test blocks for burning and sawing.
Communicate with other Supervisor's for testing schedules and status.
Maintain various electronic / paper documentation.
Perform various hardness testing
Order consumables necessary for operations in area of responsibility.

Education & Experience:_

3 years manufacturing experience or related in an industrial manufacturing setting. Supervision experience in an industrial setting.

Skills/Competencies:_

Excellent reading, writing, listening and overall communication and comprehension skills.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, drawings, charts, tables, other written instructions.
Must have good problem solving, organizational, time management, conflict resolution and planning skills.
Ability to work independently.
Experience with basic Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
