The
eCommerce Advertising Specialist is responsible for supporting the overall digital commerce advertising strategy on the Master Distribution and Marketplace teams at Ferguson.

The primary objective for this position is to scale performance of our brands through optimizing CPC marketing campaigns, maintaining healthy profitability, and providing detailed reporting on a regular basis.


While this role will primarily focus efforts on Amazon, the eCommerce Advertising Specialist will also assist with strategies on various eCommerce sites.


Location:
This role is approved to be fully remote work and can be based anywhere in the United States.


Responsibilities:


  • Support multichannel advertising strategy focusing on growing product awareness and sales.
  • Daily monitoring and analysis of all advertising campaigns on Amazon and other eCommerce sites.
  • Handle established campaigns while offering improvement suggestions and outline new strategies.
  • Understand and run automation tools to adjust bids daily, weekly, etc. as well as adding and removing products from campaigns based on performance and/or profitability.
  • Maintain, analyze and report on a monthly critical metric spend/sales report by category and brand along with profitability.
  • Formulate detailed ad performance reports and frequently update leadership on performance.
  • Build and maintain rapport with multiple internal and external partners by attending regularly scheduled meetings and providing performance reports.
  • Conduct keyword research, analysis and keyword expansion including negative keywords to improve spend efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising departments on strategies such as new product launches, promoting new digital assets etc.
  • Conduct A/B testing on different ad strategies such as product/category targeting versus audience targeting.
  • Perform market research, including competitive practices on various websites.
  • Keep up to date with the latest marketing tools available through all relevant eCommerce platforms.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in digital campaign marketing with preference given to Amazon advertising preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing metrics and return on investment analysis.
  • Ability to learn, or has experience using retail media multichannel marketing platforms.
  • Ability to learn and use database software (SQL preferred).
  • Ability to learn and use BI software.
  • Work requires attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment with demonstrated ability to balance competing tasks and demands.

Pay Range:

$4, $6,783.70
