Overview:


This position plays an integral role in meeting income tax compliance responsibilities, and the development and execution of tax strategies.

Our Business Services team supports a diverse group of growing entities with a wide variety of tax questions and opportunities.

Enjoy a consistent 40-hour work week and a hybrid schedule.

The team is in the office twice a week, so this position is ideal for those within a 2-hour driving radius of Lancaster, PA.


This position reports directly to the Income Tax Director and is involved with the full cycle of the tax process for the Clark Associates companies and shareholders.

This includes our e-commerce channel, WebstaurantStore, our brick-and-mortar channel, The Restaurant Store, and our domestic manufacturing channel, Vertical Converting.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare timely and accurate income tax and/or informational returns and extensions for passthrough entities and individuals
  • Assist in tax planning for entities and individuals
  • Assist in managing tax fixed asset records and calculations
  • Assist in compliance for property taxes, business licensing, Secretary of State annual reports, and other miscellaneous taxes and filings
  • Respond to and resolve tax notices
  • Identify and research opportunities to manage tax liabilities, including state & local incentives
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Driven, selfmotivated, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to think critically, work accurately, and thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Strong understanding of the taxation of passthrough entities, and individuals
  • Proficiency with MS Excel expected
  • Proficiency with CCH ProSystem fx Tax, BNA Fixed Assets, and Bloomberg Tax desired
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA and/or MST preferred
  • 1+ years of experience desired
