Summary:

This position is responsible to supporting the dispatching of containers by tracking the incoming container and delivering to MSI Distribution Center.

Need to contact shipping line, trucking company, US customs, and the receiving warehouse as needed for any issues and troubleshooting.


Work Hours:
Monday to Friday 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM


Compensation:

This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $18 to $21 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate.

New hires usually earn between $38,440 and $52,555 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
Run report on a daily basis to check status of incoming shipment by ETA

Check container availability on terminal or rail website and send Delivery order to trucking company

Monitor and follow up on pick-up and delivery status

Support in Date entry with status update in the database and handle documentations such as POD.

Check and dispute freight and drayage related charges as needed

Perform additional duties as required and or requested by supervisors

Minimum 2 years of experience with Port and Intermodal dispatch

Complete understanding of how Shipping Lines and Terminals operate

Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

Computer Proficiency, MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel

Ability to multitask in fast pace environment

Team player with positive attitude


Shift Timings: 5:00am to 1:30pm or 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday, and 2 Saturdays per month
