The Sales Administration & Planning Manager will work directly with distributors and retailers to manage sales planning, prepare forecast allocations, track and monitor bi-monthly promotions and enter Trade distributor orders.

They are responsible for providing sales analytics to the SVP and communicating promotional and open stock sell-through against allocations to the leadership team.

This position also manages trade incentives, back-bar and salon loyalty programs.


Responsibilities:


  • Continuously analyze and reforecast sales estimates based on sales trends & retailers' stock & sales plans
  • Work closely with buyers to ensure they have current order forms, allocations and promotional guidelines to submit their PO's within timelines
  • Work closely with distributor Sales Administrators to ensure all sales related communications are timely and accurate
  • Research and analyze sales trends, sales history and performance, revenues, current and planned inventories, other business components in order to maximize sales, brand image, and internal/external profits by account
  • Report back to sales leadership regarding shortages or overages of allocations and monthly intro deal targets
  • Evaluate post promotion analysis and provide input into account advertising plans
  • Review and enter Trade distributor PO's to ensure accuracy of promotional buyins and allocations to forecast.
  • Administer barback and DSC sampling programs for distributors and chain accounts
  • Partner with marketing and sales leadership to develop and execute sales incentive programs
  • Fulfill all field sales requests associated with DSC incentives, sampling, and approved literature requests
  • Ability to create excel reports, maintain and track sales for the leadership team
  • Investigate and resolve any distributor ordering or shipping issues (internal or external) to resolution
  • Work with SVP of Sales and Director of Marketing to prepare promotional allocations, presells, and suggest promotional orders by customer
  • Prepare all collateral materials to ship to distribution for sales, marketing and education promotional periods and customized events
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner. This includes checking distributor promotional and open stock PO's to ensure they are accurate, including assortments and pricing prior to shipment
  • Communicate with the SVP of Sales any product or inventory issues impacting the ability for an ontime shipment
  • Develop, track and maintain lists of customer reports needed for all special programs or functions for internal and/or external use
  • Track and update incentive contests and report SWOT back to sales leadership
  • Collect required monthly reports from distributors for administration purposes
  • Ability to periodically work weekends to support distributors and/or sponsored events

Skills and Knowledge:


  • 5 years work related experience in sales analytics
  • Strong analytics, sales and financial skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, high volume, deadline driven environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Must have excellent computer skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and Google Suite a must
  • Must have experience in the Beauty industry

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree a must, Masters degree is a plus
