We are currently seeking a
Purchasing Services Employee (m/f/d) for
TUI Business Services GmbH in Pierceton, IN.


About the position:


  • Conducting market research, price comparisons, and price determinations for specific inquiries, as well as analyzing and documenting the results
  • Conducting supplier searches, consolidating activities by category for the companies, standardizing suppliers and products independently and as instructed
  • Preparing contract negotiations and contract drafting; independently conducting contract negotiations or in collaboration with the Head of Purchasing Services or clients
  • Independently and/or in coordination with the supervisor and clients, designing tenders, obtaining quotes, defining evaluation criteria, evaluating results, and making recommendations with the goal of achieving proven savings or avoiding costs. Utilizing designated procurement systems.
  • Advising the group companies of the source market CE regarding the procurement process and procurement guidelines. If necessary, reviewing requirements entered into the system and converting them into orders, as well as clarifying with clients in case of incompleteness.
  • Documenting the procurement processes carried out to ensure auditability and compliance with COSO obligations
  • In coordination with the Head of Purchasing Services or jointly, regularly coordinating with stakeholders regarding ongoing and upcoming procurement projects and their prioritization.
  • Participation in projects (procurement projects, business processrelated projects, systemrelated projects)

About you:


  • Completed commercial training, preferably in wholesale and foreign trade or as an industrial clerk
