YOU
As the Building Technology Implementation & Support Specialist, you will provide ongoing post-implementation support and training of Integrated Component Software (ICS) systems.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)
You will engage in a variety of activities optimizing the customer journey throughout a successful software conversion. This includes business strategy suggestions, software implementation services, ongoing training and customer support. This will include advising on best practices, installing, and configuring the system(s), and developing, documenting, and facilitating end-user training. (50%)
Strategize with customer stakeholders including general manager, production manager, crew leaders, sawyers, and other production workers to optimize workflow, production, and scheduling - capitalizing on efficiency and productivity throughout and post software conversion.
Coordinate projects with our Design Services and Component Review Services teams, working closely with internal and external customers to document, schedule, manage, design, and communicate projects as required.

- Bachelor's degree and/or Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design/Drafting Diploma preferred.
- 5 years' experience with design and engineering of prefabricated metal plate connected wood trusses and EWP. Understanding of wood framed construction practices, details, related building codes and design standards.
- Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret construction documents including architectural and structural drawings.
- Speaking: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, coworkers and the general public.
- Writing: Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Analysis/Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Computer/Software: Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite, working knowledge of SQL databases, and basic understanding of computer networking, along with hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Driving record: Possess and maintain a driving record, which complies with company policy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.
TRAVEL
This position requires domestic travel up to 35% of the time.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, exempt position can be located in Chicago, IL, Indianapolis, IN or Milwaukee, WI
RELOCATION
Relocation is available for this position.
PAY
$56,400 - $90,200 / year
