ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:


  • Assist COO completing audit and contract reports.
  • File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and events with other agency staff and community partners.
  • Coordination of outreach calendar
  • Attending outreach events, interacting with internal and external community partners.
  • Assisting with scanning and uploading documents to maintain contract compliance.
  • Assisting with entering and tracking data to maintain contract compliance.
  • Provide additional clerical support when necessary.
  • Some Saturdays or evenings are required.
  • Travel throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties required.
  • At all times projects a favorable image of Walden Family Services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.


Requirements:


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:


  • This individual must be highly organized, and have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time. Also must have computer skills and possess excellent writing and grammatical skills, work independent of supervision and exercise initiative.
  • Previous experience working in a non-profit preferred
  • Bi-lingual Spanish/ English preferred.
  • Must possess valid California Driver's License and have a good driving record.
  • Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearances from the Department of Justice.
  • Must meet all requirements set by Community Care Licensing pertaining to the hiring of employees by a licensed community care facility.

EMPLOYEE STATUS:

Non-Exempt $ $23.00**
SALARY RANGE:

Beginning salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Secondary Supervisor - Director of Community Programs
