    Job Opportunity: We are looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Lunar Transportation business unit. In this role, you will be part of the team working on Blue Origin's Blue Moon lander product lines, contributing to building sustainable infrastructure for transporting crew and cargo to the lunar surface.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct analysis of load paths and spacecraft structures
    • Integrate structural analysis with loads and dynamics environments
    • Develop, refine, and validate Finite Element Models
    • Generate strength checks, analysis reports, test, and verification plans
    • Support configuration development and trade studies

    Qualifications:

    • B.S. Degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering
    • Minimum experience levels required
    • Solid foundation in structural static/dynamic fundamentals
    • Passion for spacecraft structural development/validation
    • Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle analysis
    • Ability to work with industry-standard analytical tools
    • Must meet U.S. citizenship or residency requirements

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience in vehicle load path definition and strength analysis
    • Knowledge of metallic and composite structures
    • Skills in composite design and analysis
    • Experience with structural optimization
    • Familiarity with engineering software tools
    • Background in Human spaceflight and composites
