Join us as an
Associate Infant Toddler Teacher and help create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Under supervision, you'll assist in developing and implementing enriching activities tailored to each child's needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining health and safety standards,
Implementing curriculum,
Providing positive guidance,
Fostering an accepting environment,
Nurturing positive parent relations,
Contributing and collaborating with the classroom team,
And maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications
-
Permit Required:A Valid Associate-level Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
or a Valid CDA credential with the appropriate age-level endorsement.

Education:Minimum of twelve college-level credits of Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent quarter units in child growth and development, human growth and development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum;

At least six months of experience in a licensed infant care center or comparable childcare program.
Experience working with diverse populations and lowincome families is desirable.
Ability to read and write English, interpret documents, and communicate effectively. Have basic mathematical skills.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
Deep understanding and ability to articulate the role that equity, inclusion, and diversity plays in our work.
Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards is highly desirable, including Lesson Planning, Creative Curriculum, Mighty Minutes, Ages and Stages Questionnaire, DRDP Assessments.
Pediatric First Aid and Infant/Child CPR certification or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.

Other Requirements:

The successful completion of an employment background/criminal check and live scan fingerprinting clearance.
Employment physical and proof of immunization record (MMR and TDAP vaccines).
Proof of absence of tuberculosis.
