Position Overview:


As Director, Revenue Pricing & Promotions, you will be responsible for overseeing the pricing and promotional needs of the organization, identifying the best pricing schemes for the company's products across an omnichannel distribution matrix.

To do this, you will analyze industry trends, and current events, and study the target market and their spending behaviors to build pricing strategies by customer segment and products to maximize company profitability.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
  • Work directly with Finance & Sales Teams to set tangible product pricing.
  • Assist with pricing negotiations of customers' proposals.
  • Partner with buyers and key account managers to ensure an integrated profitmaximizing approach to the market.
  • Assist with pricing/promo recommendations to sell excess/aged inventory.
  • Analyze the financial impact of the price approach given the overall history as well as the profitability of a customer.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to validate all pricing, promotional proposals, and commercial strategies.
  • Proactively monitor competitive pricing and highlight solutions to address price discrepancies.
  • Develop strategic longterm and promotional shortterm pricing strategies.
  • Other duties or special projects as required.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Finance or Marketing; and a minimum of 5 years related revenue management experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Finance or Marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Proficient in using data analysis software, such as Excel, Jungle Scout, or other CRMbased tools to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Knowledge of pricing models, competitive analysis, market segmentation, and valuebased pricing as well as a deep understanding of other pricing strategies and methodologies is required.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, such as profit margins, pricing elasticity, and revenue forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of the market dynamics, including customer behavior, industry trends, and competitive landscape to aid in developing effective pricing strategies and lead the market.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders to align with pricing strategies and decisions, and the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams such as Sales and Finance.
  • Strong problemsolving skills that can be used to identify issues, develop innovative solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrate comfort with ambiguity and be able to handle complex pricing challenges.

Pay:
$100, $150,000.00 per year
