    Ourisman Toyota of Richmond is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to help grow our booming business. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of accounting principles as well as general office practices and procedures.

    About us:

    In 1921, Benjamin Ourisman opened a Chevrolet dealership in Washington. At the start of World War II, Ourisman Chevrolet was the largest auto dealer in the U.S. Today, Ourisman Automotive Group has grown to over 17 locations and is still owned and operated by the 4th generation of the Ourisman family. Mr. Ourisman's standards have set the bar high as "Every customer has to be completely satisfied, every time. We want them to come back, and we'll do whatever is necessary to reach that goal."

    Responsibilities

    · Posts all open items in accounts payable daily. Reconciles vendor statements to the AP schedules making sure payments are accurate & consistent with the dealership schedules.

    · Review vendor invoices ensuring proper approval and expense to proper account reconcile all vendor invoices to statements for batch payments

    · Post and reconcile manufacturer invoices to monthly statements

    · Process check requests-expense accordingly

    · Maintain vendor W9 files

    · Prepare and file 1099 forms annually

    · Assist in month-end closing duties

    · Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    · Accounts payable experience required

    · Excel savvy

    · Willingness to take initiative

    · Computer literacy

    · Detailed Follow up

    · Ability to work independently

    · Reynolds & Reynolds experience is a plus

    Dealership experience preferred
