About the Role Position Summary**The primary function of a Material Handler is to assist in the daily operation of the warehouse as needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Accurately transfers and moves materials in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for retrieving and staging materials for shipping.
  • Inspects all labels and documentation for accuracy.
  • Stores material and record transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintains a safe working environment.
  • Ensures that GMP, housekeeping and safety practices are being followed.
  • Responsible for general maintenance of the warehouse (cleaning floors, equipment, and racks as appropriate).
  • Responsible for reporting any safety issues to supervisor.
  • Works closely with the supervisor on prioritizing tasks.

About You Required Qualifications**:


  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent level of education is required.
years of previous warehouse experience is required.
-
Must have experience operating a reach truck and a forklift.

  • Ability to lift / maneuver up to 66 lbs. of heavy materials on a regular basis is required.
  • Must be proficient in the English language.
  • Selfmotivated individual willing to perform hard work.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
  • Experience with SAP and/or RF scanning is a plus.
