Support the manager by providing complete, accurate, and timely preparation of the bi-weekly payroll and off-cycle supplemental payrolls.

Pay Range:
$ $43.49

Support the manager by providing complete, accurate, and timely preparation of the bi-weekly payroll and off-cycle supplemental payrolls.

Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job
Enters direct deposit requests/changes, tax information, and workers' compensation codes for new hires/job changes into payroll system software.

Sets up each employee with the correct profile, and information in automated timekeeping system (ATS).

Answers ATS web entry calls from employees.

Follows up on all emails/phone calls for issues on ATS web entry.

Responds to all Payroll Web Help Desk tickets as well as emails.

Researches all amended timesheets and calculate retroactive pay adjustments as necessary.

Researches lost payroll checks and assists to replace as needed.

Conducts training at the New Employee Orientation.

Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
High School Diploma or GED – required

Experience Required
Five years' payroll

processing/management

experience

Knowledge of
Federal and Alaska wage and hour laws and regulations

Skills in
Problem-solving

Ability to
Work under time pressure
