- Audit, analyze and reconcile the accuracy of Leave of Absence (LOA) payments and Paid Time Off (PTO) benefits
- Analyze complex reports, research and answer inquiries regarding LOA and PTO and providing a wide range of customer service activities
- Coordinate with outside vendors and state agencies to ensure accurate payments are processed
- Respond to inquiries from state agencies and resolve LOA related issues.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of LOA and PTO laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional work environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes
- Proficient in conducting evidence-based analysis and making strategic decisions to resolve payroll-related issues
- In-depth understanding of payroll regulations and laws
- Ability to interpret and explain employment laws to stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as HR, Compensation, Leave Management, and others
- 3 years of experience creating and analyzing data and metrics through the use of HR systems (HRMS, PeopleSoft, Taleo, etc.) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Work Experience with analytics, communication, and problem solving
- Experience in a role that required organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects
- 3 years of experience in payroll or absence management
- Experience creating and analyzing data through the use of HR and payroll systems
- Certification such as a CPP, CPA, CIA, CMA, and/or a higher education certificate in accounting
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field

Associate Payroll Analyst in Renton, WA or Hazelwood, MO.
As an Associate Payroll Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
Furthermore, you'll have the opportunity to provide guidance and training to stakeholders on payroll compliance requirements and procedures with the chance to work alongside industry leaders and make a real impact.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
