Optical Technician:

As an Optical Lab Technician, you will work closely with engineers and scientist contributing to the development of optical, opto-mechanical, and opto-electrical systems, sub-systems and components for various products.

You are organized with your work and detail orientated.

Fabricate, assemble, align, test optical, optoelectrical, and optomechanical components, subsystems and systems
Operate various optical instruments
Manage lab/shop materials and supplies and maintain lab/shop readiness
Provide feedback on assembly and test process and help red line procedures

Qualifications:

Technical school or equivalent with 3+ years' experience
Experience working with optical components, cleaning, cutting, aligning, measuring
Proficient with basic computer skills, experience with MS Word and Excel
Proficient with basic math skill
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
