Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Fabricate and weld parts as needed
- Maintain and update equipment records and documentation
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read and interpret schematics
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems
- Experience with logic controllers and other automated systems is preferred
- Leadership skills to supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with other departments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and external contractors
