Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.


Responsibilities:


  • Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas
  • Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse using forklifts
  • Stack and organize products in the appropriate storage locations
  • Perform inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock levels
  • Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and management to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse setting
  • Valid forklift certification/license
  • Proficient in operating various types of forklifts including clamp trucks, cherry pickers, reach trucks, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and materials handling procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork related to inventory management
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required
