Autistic Client in Lake Mary 8A6P Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Saturday and 13:30P6P on Monday and Tuesdays. There is a therapy dog in the home.

Responsibilities:

Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities
Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care
Assist patients in walking, outdoor activities, etc.
Develop and promote a safe environment for quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures and standards.
Shadowing RBT on daytoday activities.
Keep a line of sight supervision.

Requirements:

Minimum of one (1) year of professional caregiving experience
Valid CPR certificate with handson training (virtual courses not accepted)
TB Skin test dated within the past year or chest xray dated within the past 5 years
Background check
Reliable car and auto insurance. Certain days will require the client to be picked up from school or taken to appointments. Eligibility to drive is required.
Ability to pass preemployment drug screen

Preferred Requirements:

Experience working with children.
Experience working with nonverbal autistic children.

Able to engage in dynamic activities.
