Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team.

As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our client's distribution center, managing inventory control, and leading a team of warehouse associates.

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems.

Duties:

Manage and supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products
Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and audits
Train and mentor warehouse associates on proper procedures and safety protocols
Oversee the maintenance and organization of the warehouse to optimize space utilization
Utilize AS400 or similar systems to track inventory levels, process orders, and generate reports
Collaborate with other departments to improve overall warehouse efficiency
Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist with loading and unloading of shipments

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 or similar software
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines
Proficient in materials handling techniques to ensure safety and minimize damage

We offer competitive pay based on experience.

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
