We need an experienced Informatica Specialist to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Your scope of work will be focused on architecting, developing, and optimizing data integration solutions using Informatica's state-of-the-art tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Use Informatica to architect, develop, and optimize data solutions
Transform complex data into actionable insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
Translate business requirements into effective Informatica data integration solutions
Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout its lifecycle to maintain data integrity
Use Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, and PowerExchange
Optimize data integration processes
Support Agile methods to drive continuous improvement
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and troubleshoot issues
Mentor team members and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of learning and growth
Remain up-to-date with industry trends, Informatica advancements, and emerging technologies
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, PowerExchange, or similar technologies
Hands-on knowledge of data integration best practices, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
Familiar with Agile principles for iterative and collaborative development
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Enthusiastic and Proactive
BACKGROUND
6+ years of progressive and relevant experience
Experience working in a Federal environment, preferably DHS ICE preferred
Experience supporting ICE preferred
Existing and active DHS EOD/clearance preferred
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or other related scientific or technical discipline
An associate degree with an extra three or more years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelors
LOCATION
Washington D.C. metropolitan area
TELEWORK
Primarily remote with occasional office visits
CLEARANCE
U.S. citizenship required since this role supports the U.S. federal government
