We are currently seeking a System Administrator for Monitoring Systems (m/f/d) to join our Competence Center for Data Center Management at our Hamburg location. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Your Responsibilities


The Competence Center for Data Center Management is responsible for monitoring all systems relevant to service delivery (such as network and data connections, individual applications, servers), developing functions, and evaluating all relevant data. This includes proactively monitoring technical processes and taking action before any disruptions occur.

Your task will be to design, maintain, and provide the technical processes for the complex monitoring architecture. You will also be responsible for administering the monitoring tools, including developing new service monitoring solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for administering the data center management systems and providing training and support to system users.

Requirements


You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

In addition, we are looking for candidates with in-depth knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Knowledge of LINUX/UNIX
  • Scripting skills
  • Experience with administration tools (e.g. FNT Command, Checkmk)
