JOB SUMMARY:


Harbor Nissan is seeking a Full Time Used Car Technician to join our team at our Port Charlotte, FL location.

This is a key role within our dealership that requires a skilled individual with a strong background in the auto industry.

As a Used Car Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks on used vehicles to ensure they are in top condition for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
  • Test components and system, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect used vehicle tradeins.
  • Perform new vehicle inspections

REQUIREMENTS:


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes.
  • Outstanding attention to detail with commitment to quality.
  • Ability to use technical reference materials and technical manuals in written and online formats.
  • Ability to communicate technical terms to nontechnical audience.
  • Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.
