Arni's Restaurants have been serving Indiana for almost 60 years We are looking for fun and motivated Host/Hostess to continue the tradition

An Arni's Host is an integral part of the day-to-day operation and provides a warm, welcoming greeting to all Arni's guests and ensures their dining experience is exceptional.

The ideal host greets guests in a genuine welcoming manner, controls the flow of the restaurant by organizing and balancing seating the entire restaurant, always has a welcoming smile, and works well in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Welcomes guests to Arni's
Provides accurate wait times
Manages reservations and wait lists
Maintains the overall cleanliness of the lobby and restaurant walking areas
Answers incoming calls and guest inquiries
Assists other team members as necessary

Requirements and skills

Prior host or customer service experience is preferred
Ability to work at a consistently fast pace in an independent manner
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work as part of a team for the benefit of the guest
Excellent communication skills (phone and in person)
Demonstrable customerservice skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
Ability to stand and walk during an entire shift
