Daycare Director

Beanstalk is hiring an experienced director who loves working with children and is dedicated to helping them to succeed.

The director should have a natural tendency to lead, allowing them to oversee all facility operations and delegate tasks among staff members.

Requirements for the position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or Degree in a Related Field
• At least Three to Five years Experience as a Director in a Keystone Star 3 or 4 Child Care Center
• Experience in Supervising a minimum of Twelve Staff Persons
• Experience with PHL PreK Program, Creative Curriculum, and Teaching Strategies Gold
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to multitask
• Strong leadership skills
• Shows initiative

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Staff Scheduling
• Oversee tours and inquiries
• Effectively Communicate with Parents and Staff
• Supervise, assess and evaluate employees
• Maintain DHS and OCDEL License Requirements
• Hold monthly staff meetings
• Schedule Staff Trainings in accordance with Keystone Stars and PhillyPreK requirements

Compensation

• Competitive Salary at $50,000 to 58,000 per year
• Annual Performance Bonus
