The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokias Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

This position supports a fast-paced multi-site hardware engineering organization. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, be a quick learner, self-starter, be able to drive projects with minimal direction, take initiative, and work well under pressure.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

Support hardware engineering with material inventory management and purchasing for NPI builds. Additional support of shipping and receiving functions pertaining to engineering builds and support of change control functions.

**Your skills and experience**

Key Responsibilities/Functions

Work with NPI purchasing and program managers to assist in the procurement of materials for NPI projects.

Manage incoming NPI material ensuring proper disposition of received material

Support NPI technical purchasing and program management activities

Responsible for monitoring, tracking and reporting on all aspects of NPI material receipts.

Responsible for working with local change management control on material revisions and support of change documentation.

Requires a very flexible attitude and willingness to work on a broad spectrum of engineering build, material management and change control issues.

**Preferred qualifications:**

Three years of Purchasing/sourcing experience in the Hi-Tech industry

Ability to communicate effectively, must be very proactive

Strong communication & written skills a must

BS Degree with 3 years of experience

Strong computer experience including; MS Office products, inventory management control and purchasing systems.

Experience working with purchasing, receiving and change management control

Strong analytical, quantitative and mathematical skills

Ability to multitask under very dynamic conditions
