- Facilitate and/or initiate banking transactions, as needed, and perform bank reconciliations
- Understand and adhere to all legal agreements including, but not limited to, Purchase & Sale
- Ensure financial reporting is consistent with annual business plan and annual operating budget
- Assist with annual tax returns, Form K1s, and payments
- Participate in annual financial audit, if required, or any other audit i.e., agreed upon procedures

Assistant Controller
Position Summary
The Assistant Controller will be a key member of the accounting team accountable for preparing Joint Venture financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other required reporting needs for JV partners and/or lenders for the CFO's approval.
The role is also involved in preparing, consolidating, and analyzing project financials submitted by their Development Department.This position works closely with third-party property managers, lenders, JV partners, investors, and corporate accounting team on accounting needs for both operating properties and development projects.
Dutiesinclude monthly financial close process, reconciliations, loan draws, investor reporting, budget review, as well as various ad-hoc projects. The position requires well-developed organizational skills, an affinity for numbers, as well as competent communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
