  • Coordinate with scanning partners for scanning activities and tracking progress.
  • Coordinate with postscanning team for registration progress, data splitting plan and delivery of data to offshore team.
  • Report any challenges with scanning and post scanning activities.
  • Report Chevron on scanning progress on weekly basis.
  • Coordination with all stake holders (Client, LTTS & scanning partners) of digital twin on issues and feedback.
  • Coordinate on any new scanning scope requirement with Digital twin team.
  • Gather and implement detailed inputs like piping specifications, isometrics, datasheets, P&IDs, equipment layouts, battery limits and coordinate systems for 3D modelling and effective data presentation.
  • Perform field walkdowns for clarifications that arise during the execution of 3D modeling and laser scan activities.
  • Work with multiple disciplines in refinery like operations, maintenance and designs engineering for project schedule and safety parameters.
  • Direct, coordinate, advise and technically support the digital twin 3D modeling while working at customer location with high focus on quality and accuracy of the refinery data being captured and processed.
  • Create individual piping drawings, sketch drawings and isometrics to generate bill of material using pipe specifications for performing routine site maintenance and executing engineering work orders by construction teams.
  • Perform clash checks on 3D model in Navisworks Manage tool to ensure high quality is achieved and matches the realworld conditions as per the digital twin project requirements.
  • Assist, identify and resolve design issues through collaboration with designs engineering group, drafter, designers and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate technical reports, weekly reports and presentations supporting the timely completion of the digital twin project as per schedule.
  • Locate necessary supporting documentation for 3D modeling and verification using Aveva AIM and APCM cloud database.
  • Maintain documentation for the design and scope changes, schedule and cost impact during the project execution while aligning with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop continuous improvement solutions and formulate proposals by collecting and analyzing information and data related to digital twin project execution.
  • Provide inputs to internal team with field isometrics, hand sketch drawings, clash check reports, tagging of comments in Navisworks Manage for resolving queries and quality assurance.

Qualification:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field
