Description:


This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Loyola Medicine's 3 hospitals are located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago.

Stroke/neuro is a 24-bed unit that includes telemetry beds devoted to the care of the stoke patient. A multidisciplinary team manages patient care to achieve excellent patient outcomes. Stroke/TIA patients are continuously monitored using the latest technology.

All nursing staff that routinely manages patients in the stroke/neuro unit will achieve and maintain certification on the NIH stroke scale and ACLS with arrhythmia interpretation.

Flexible self-scheduling, with designated third weekend commitment and accommodating three holidays per year. All registered nurses can become ACLS and Medical Surgical Board certified
