    Regional Business Manager-North - Waltham, United States - Ophthalmic Consultants Of Boston

    Description

    We are looking for a Regional Business Manager-North to join the team at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston (OCB).

    The Regional Business Manager (RBM) North will be in charge of overseeing Front Desk administration and business operations at various locations including Boston, Waltham, Danvers, Framingham, Milton, Cambridge, and Quincy.

    In this role, you will lead a team to ensure the success of multiple OCB locations on a day-to-day basis.

    Collaborating with various departments within OCB, such as Clinical Management, Finance & Analytics, and Scheduling & Billing, the RBM will work towards achieving performance goals and driving key initiatives.

    Adhering to OCB values, the RBM will focus on patient care, operational excellence, and maintaining fiscal responsibility.


    Key Requirements:
    • Manage and support the needs of the practice while fostering accountability and professionalism.
    • Implement standardized processes to ensure consistency and quality.
    • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
    • Work towards achieving key performance targets including inventory management and patient satisfaction.
    • Oversee clinic budgets, optimize revenue, and control costs.
    • Facilitate employee growth and development within the organization.
    • Maintain a patient-centered approach and promote a positive team culture aligned with company values.
    • Build and nurture relationships with providers, referral sources, and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate strong understanding of Front Desk operations and take initiative in daily tasks.
    • Collaborate effectively with employees, managers, and physicians.

    Example of Duties:
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures impacting patient registration, confidentiality, and compliance.
    • Train, evaluate, and establish goals for staff; monitor time and attendance.
    • Implement quality assurance tracking reports and training programs.
    • Review and address scheduling, billing, and collection issues.
    • Communicate objectives and motivate staff to achieve goals.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and conduct regular training sessions.
    • Coordinate meetings to ensure efficient operations and patient care.
    • Provide feedback for system improvements.
    • Travel to assigned locations regularly.
    • Perform additional job duties as needed.

    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 5+ years in Healthcare Management.
    • 3+ years of management experience.
    • Proficiency in information management systems and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel as required.
