Machine Operator/Assistant
Full Time - 1st or 2nd Shift

Dover, NH - Northeastern Nonwovens, Inc.


The Manufacturing Department is responsible for the operation, trouble shooting, and monitoring of equipment responsible for the production, packaging, and distribution of Northeastern Nonwovens products.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely operate high speed manufacturing equipment including warehouse or material handling responsibilities as needed
  • Master all process elements of role including troubleshooting and basic repair
  • Exhibit interpersonal skills necessary to work as a member of a highperformance team
  • Provide training support to other areas within the mill to help reach strategic mill goals
  • Focus on safety through identifying and improving conditions that affect safety and upholding safety standards and expectations
  • Ensure quality through accomplishing tasks and showing concern for all aspects of the job
  • Take ownership to set high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility for successfully completing assignments or tasks
  • Place a high priority on the internal and external customer's perspective when making decisions and taking action
  • Be open to giving and receiving feedback in an effort to continuously build talent and foster development, using feedback constructively to improve when necessary
  • Gain trust from others by acting with integrity and following through on commitments, share ideas and treat ideas from others with respect

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to maintain a work schedule of hour shifts (1st or 2nd shift), including overtime, that could include weekends and holidays
  • At least one year of verifiable work experience
  • Basic computer skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic mechanical, technical or manufacturing skills or related experience
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability, including troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution
  • Previous or current experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with industrial tractors or forklift operations
  • 23 years verifiable work experience in manufacturing
