SUMMARY


The Call for Science Coordinator, working under the guidance of the Manager, Call for Science, is responsible for providing essential administrative support to the Center for Education's Call for Science (CFS) and program functions.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for Call for Science presenters and submitters, ensuring that their inquiries and concerns are addressed with promptness and professionalism.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Call for Science (CFS)

Website Management:

Collaborates closely with the Manager of Call for Science (CFS) to test and review edits and new functions on the CFS website, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Meeting Support: Prepares materials for CFS meetings, including but not limited to TCT abstract and Late Breaking Trial selection meetings, facilitating the smooth execution of these critical events.

Data Management: Extracts relevant data from the CFS website and prepares reports for internal physician queries, ensuring that vital information is accessible for decision-making.

Onsite Presentation Support: Assists in the coordination of onsite presentations, encompassing various formats such as physical posters, electronic posters, moderated posters, and oral presentations, contributing to the success of these components.

Additional Responsibilities: Willingness to undertake other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Call for Science department.


QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background: A bachelor's degree is a prerequisite for this position.

Academic Interest: A genuine interest in academic matters is a key requirement.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is essential, including experience in database management.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, patience, professionalism, and the capacity to effectively engage with staff and management are imperative.

Analytical Abilities: Demonstrated capacity to analyze information and solve problems is expected.
