    Please only apply you live in South Florida and can come and work in the office in Fort Lauderdale Monday through Friday.

    Our legal office is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced marketing assistant to help us in person continue to grow and track and implement metrics for our marketing plan. As a member of the marketing team, you'll help implement and execute winning online and offline advertising strategies that promote our legal services and uphold our brand image. Experience in the legal industry is preferred but not required.

    These Are Tasks You Will Be Expected to Do:

    • Create thumbnails and edit videos
    • Execute the firm's back-end marketing system to ensure customer service and top-of-mind awareness
    • Develop marketing materials for targeted audiences
    • Responses to prospects (new client proposals, brochures)
    • Welcome packages and personalized letters
    • Newsletters
    • Marketing emails
    • Blogs
    • Biographies
    • Updates to social media channels such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
    • Keep the Firm's website and social media up-to-date and fresh and add additional content and backlinks
    • Coordinate and arrange seminars and workshops as required by the Marketing Director/Owner
    • Keep abreast of the Firm's social calendar and ongoing and upcoming projects and programs to be able to inform prospective clients and answer questions from staff
    • The Marketing Assistant will at all times maintain the Firm's marketing documents and materials in locations that are accessible to the Owner and Firm Administrator
    • Participate in weekly staff meetings with the Owner and Staff. Lead by example with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
    • Comply with all rules and regulations as stated in the Firm's Policies and Procedures

    These are Tasks you Might Also Be Responsible For:

    • Call current and former clients (on behalf of the firm) to check in and see if there is anything the firm can do to assist them, or whether they have friends or family that would be open to firm help (also called GAS calls or Smile & Dial calls)
    • Contact potential referral sources to arrange meetings with the owner
    • Maintain the top-of-mind awareness system to deepen relationships and increase the value of current referral sources
    • Contact organizations that would be willing to invite firm attorneys to speak to their members, clients, or service populations

    Education & Experience

    • The Marketing Assistant should have an educational background in marketing at the associate degree level or should have work experience in marketing at an equivalent level
    • One to three years of experience working in marketing is preferred

    Tools and Programs

    It would be terrific if you know how to use a majority of these, but there are learning opportunities

    • Use Canva, Semrush, and similar marketing tools
    • Customize funnels in GoHighLevel and Clio

    Compensation:

    $40,000 - $53,000 yearly

    Responsibilities:
    • Establish a strategic marketing plan that effectively promotes our legal firm
    • Monitor and maintain content across all platforms including website, social media mailing lists, SEO, and data analytics to keep content current
    • Create monthly breakdowns of our analytics on web and social, recommend improvements, and identify growth opportunities based on the trends in the latest market research
    • Maintain responsibility over the firm's brand integrity by overseeing the copywriting and image creation of all print materials including letterhead, business cards, brochures, flyers, etc.
    • Create content for digital marketing campaigns through email, social media, and online advertising that will generate brand awareness and bring new clients to the legal firm
    Qualifications:
    • A background or a desire to learn more about the legal industry is strongly desired
    • Jobseekers should be able to juggle multiple deadlines and projects
    • 4-year degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, or related field required
    • Must have very strong written and verbal marketing communication skills
    • Strong understanding of web and email systems, public relations, brand messaging, and social platforms - basic graphic design skills are also desired
